In the dawns of LCD TV era, Sharp came out with a strong product line and established a reputation for great quality. Although new LCD TVs brands popping up on every store shelves everyday, this Japanese TV manufacturer hasn’t been able to rest on their place. And today Sharp continues to prove that they are up for tough LCD TV competition and remains a revered manufacturer of LCD TV. Sharp continues to dominate the LCD TV market this year by coming up with a quality LCD TVs comprehensive line for any budget or installation. Just state their latest LC-20B9U and LC-20B8U-S series, they are 20-inch TVs in high end Sharp AQUOS LCD TV lineup. Buyers are looking for the best picture money can buy delivered in stylish form of Sharp’s AQUOS TVs. While bargain shoppers will not flock to the AQUOS line looking for a deal, but since LCD prices falling these days, either of Sharp’s top-end 20-inch TVs can be had surprisingly cheaply that they might also surprise themselves.

Just take a look at both models previously stated, they features a 4:3 LCD panel surrounded by a black frame with wide black speakers on the sides of the TV. The TV and speakers are capped off with a colored plastic strip along its top and its bottom. The silver outer strip for LC-20B8U-S and titanium on the LC-20B9U. The wide speakers on the sides of the 20-inch Sharp Aquos LCD TV makes their overall shape follow a 16:9 rectangle. Both the Sharp Aquos LCD TV LC-20B9U and LC-20B8U-S models share identical construction and electronics.

We give 95:100 for picture quality for Sharp Aquos LCD TV. The color displayed was simply astounding on the LCD television. Many manufacturers may have long been able to make vivid blues and bright reds, but what is so impressing about Sharp Aquos LCD TV was the quality of its non-primary colors. It’s rarely mentioned purples or browns when reviewing an LCD TV and it’s just because they rarely see them in true form. I have been treated by the LX-20B8U-S to earthy browns, which cheap LCD TVs displays brown as gray. Rarely do TV manufacturers like others, go the extra mile to ensure such outstanding color performance with smaller LCDs. The Sharp Aquos LCD TV LC-20B9U and Sharp Aquos LCD TV LC-20B9U have full-feature sets despite their compact size. Their 20-inch LCDs come with a great collection of inputs, sound, and convenience features. However, like all 20-inch LCD’s I’ve encountered, the LCD TVs do not include an ATSC tuner, CableCARD slot, or picture-in-picture functionality. The Sharp Aquos LCD TV LC-20B8U-S and LC-20B9U are probably some of the most feature-packed 20-inch LCDs on the market. With excellent features and class-leading picture quality the LC-20B8U-S and LC-20B9U can’t be overlooked.
