Hitachi HDTV: A Dream Comes True

My name is Lullaby. I live in my uncle’s house with my two cousins. My parents died 2 years ago, and I don’t have any relatives other than my uncle. Since living in other people’s house, I always try to stay out of trouble. I don’t want to fight with my cousins because I already have too much to mind. Though my uncle pay for my tuition, it does not mean that I can be free to not think of it. He never let me forget that I owe too much from him. There is always something about me that make him mad at me, or just does not like me or just does not like something I do. And what I thought about their home entertainment ?

They have a Hitachi TV set in the living room, but I can only watch the TV if I really lucky. My cousins and their parents occupies the remote control all the time, and when I join them in the living room to watch TV, they give me a very disgusted look, a look that only appear if you see human excrement on the side of the street. One day, the Adam’s family is going to an acquaintance’s party. I did not know how that could happen that they leave everything unlocked and I can watch TV without their disgusted look. Then I saw it. A Hitachi HDTV plasma. I did not know what gets into me, but all I know at that time is that I really want that Hitachi HDTV plasma. If I remember this time in the future, this is what people call the turning point in my life, and it begins from Hitachi HDTV. A very amazing TV.

Since that night, I promise myself to study harder and to work even harder just to make comes true my dream to own a Hitachi HDTV plasma TV –and own a house suitable for it. I study hard; I earn money from scholarship, and prepare myself for some good job opportunities. I should get out of this town and make a new life so one day, when my cousins meet me in the future, I will have owned my Hitachi HDTV plasma.

When I was in my way back to my uncle’s house, I step on something that catches my eyes. It is the flyer of Hitachi HDTV plasmas. I fold it neatly and put it in my bag. I really treasure it and assume it as the sign from up above that one day, that Hitachi HDTV plasma will be mine.

The time flies as I cast my focus on that TV. I graduated with GPA of 3,87 and not so long after graduation, I start to work in a big production house. Accustomed in working hard, I can reach a high position in that production house in 2 years. Now, I have a very luxurious apartment and my dream TV: a Hitachi HDTV plasma.
